Tears & Fears for Egypt

(Photo found via Google search - listed from timesofisrael.com)

While we are safely enjoying the beauty of two of Europe's premier cities in the company of some amazing people, we cannot escape the headlines, the images, the videos, & the tweets of the past few days of death, violence, and societal deadlock that has transpired.

I've not read enough articles, nor are we on the ground there to get a feel for the city, but we are saddened but what has happened, is happening, and may yet happen as a result.  Tears & fears.

We will be watching, reading and communicating with Egyptian Christians over the next week as we brace for what next Friday may hold, as we'll as every night until then.  We will update with relevant news stories and personal reports as well.

Until then, join us tonight in praying for this nation in turmoil and the millions of innocents whose livelihood, peace, & hopes hang in the balance.  Pray for the families who have senselessly lost loved ones in the past few weeks--their grief compounds anger that may only lead to greater grief--pray for the miracle of forgiveness in place vengeance.  Pray for  leaders who need to talk and come together for the sake of the population, not only their political ideals or futures.

Pray for Egypt.

(We will continue to update from Budapest and Berlin as well)
